The Application Engineer (AE) will fill an Inside Sales position that is responsible for US-based sales accounts within a specific territory/area of the US. They will be accountable for meeting their sales goals, via direct interaction with Regional Sales Managers, US Sales representatives, channel partners, sales agents, and direct customers. They will be responsible for creating and recording all contact interactions and building an opportunity sales plan, respectively.
Candidate should have experience with business-to-business sales, CRM reporting and record keeping (Salesforce preferred), and key account management – while having an excellent technical knowledge of load cells, torque transducers, instrumentation, and or other electromechanical sensors.
The AE’s daily support efforts are typically realized via phone, email, and written correspondence. The AE initiates, follows through, and ensures completion of all sales orders and channel/customer requests in a timely and urgent manner. They must work cooperatively and collaboratively with other department personnel to ensure engineering requests, accounting documents, and production orders are expedited according to customer requirements – making sure all data is entered and disseminated to others accurately and timely.
Travel may be required to meet with, or provide support to partners and key account/customers. However, the majority of the work assignment is carried-out at their desk in Scottsdale.
The successful candidate will become an expert in all company products in order to provide excellent technical support to their assigned region and customer base.
