The T28 Slip-Ring Square Drive Rotary Torque Transducer is a rotating torque transducer equipped with slip rings that transmit an analog, unamplified strain gauge bridge output signal in mV/V. This signal is transmitted via high-quality, low-wear slip rings. Slip ring sensors are typically used for individual, random inspections or torque measurements at low speeds. Most torque sensors with slip ring transmission also feature integrated speed/angle measurement as a standard. Common applications for this type of sensor include screw driving technologies and test bench applications such as testing engines, gears, bearings, and seals.
